Transcription: The 3D graphics in this title are very impressive, rendered in the same style as Donkey Kong Country. Sadly, the playability is another issue. Instead of having a health bar, you're simply assigned three stars, with a star being removed every time you're struck by an enemy. The control is rather crude, and the result is a visually appealing game that is frustrating in terms of playability. On the plus side, the music, some of which is penned by Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora, lends some atmosphere to the game. Overall, Johnny B. is an average side scroller on all fronts.
